Workshop: Copyright and Intellectual Property - A 101 for LIS Students

So... you're an expert on copyright, right? Yeah, me neither.

Ever wondered what kind of copyright issues you'll probably face when you start your first job after graduating? Have you ever just had a hankering for some basic copyright dos and don'ts for the beginning librarian? Don't worry, help is now on the way!

The SLIS Student Orgs. would like to make you aware of a workshop being presented by Merilyn Burke on Copyright and Intellectual Property. The information in this workshop is geared toward the soon-to-be information professional (a.k.a. SLIS students.) Here's a chance for you to learn the "101" of copyright and intellectual property, and to ask any questions about the topics. All LIS students are welcome to attend!

What: Workshop - Copyright and Intellectual Property - A 101 for LIS Students
Instructor: Merilyn Burke
Date: MONDAY, March 3rd
Time: 8:15pm-9:15pm
Location: USF Tampa Library, LIB209
